8 best baby bath time products

Ever since I found out that I was pregnant, I knew that I wanted to pick products for Azaiah that would be as gentle as possible on his skin. Bath time has become an integral part of our routine, it’s great for settling down and showing him that bedtime is near, but it’s also been amazing for bonding.

We now have a select few products that are great on his skin and hair from Nala’s Baby which is a firm favourite to Aveeno.

Take a look at my pick of the best bath time products for baby.

This soft touch bath is secure and provides support for baby during bath time. We opted for this simplistic, neutral colourway but it’s also available in blue and pink. It’s good to note that this requires filling the bathtub to a point however, the helpful water level indicator ensures that your little bub is safe.

The material is warmed quickly by the water temperature, so you won’t have to worry about your baby feeling cold when initially being placed in the bath.

My 1st Years Bath Towel

There’s nothing quite like seeing your little one wrapped up in a hooded towel after bath time and we love this personalised pick from My 1st Years at Next, it would also make a great gift.

This pack of five flannels from Mothercare are 100% cotton making them super gentle for baby’s skin. These are great for bath time and everyday use when getting baby ready.

It’s no secret that I couldn’t wait to give Nala’s Baby products a try after I’d heard such good things about the brand. The products are non-toxic and gentle for baby’s skin plus, they’re suitable from newborn right though to childhood.

Since being pregnant with Azaiah I really connected to the story behind the brand because I also felt a responsibility to find products that contained as little harmful ingredients as possible.

This body wash contains natural ingredients from oat to camomile and it smells amazing. If you’re in search of cleaner products, give Nala’s Baby a go.

Part of the dreamy vanilla cloud range, this nighttime oil makes the perfect addition to a relaxing evening bath time with little ones. It contains a blend of vitamin E and C, Castor Oil and Lavender Oil. I love using this on Azaiah before bedtime as massaging has been a game changer in settling him down. This sinks into the skin leaving it soft and moisturised.

This creamy body butter helps to relieve itchy skin as well as reducing inflammation. This melts into Azaiah’s skin leaving it beautifully moisturised and it has gone a long way in reducing any dryness.

Suitable for newborn skin, I have been using this on Azaiah’s hair and his curls have been left super soft after use. The wash contains natural oat extract to deliver soothing properties and the soap free formula protects the skins natural barrier to avoid dryness.

I was in search of a product that I could use on Azaiah’s hair but didn’t want any creams that would be too heavy being that he is newborn. I found this coconut oil which I have been applying to his hair and scalp.

The oil has defined his little curls and ensured his hair remains moisturised. I use this after a hair wash as well as at points when I feel his hair could do with a boost.
